4th annual D-Day DiNNER

The 1860 Club and The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada cordially invite you to the 4th Annual D-Day Dinner at Casa Loma in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of V-E Day and the Liberation of the Netherlands.
The Dinner will commemorate the Regiment's sacrifices during the campaign to liberate the Netherlands, leading to the Allied victory in Europe. A highlight of the dinner will be the presence of Sgt Aubrey Cosens' medals, on loan from the Canadian War Museum—including the original Victoria Cross posthumously awarded for his actions in Mooshof, Germany on February 26, 1945.
Casa Loma was built by our 8th Commanding Officer, Major-General Sir Henry Pellatt, and is home to the Regiment’s Museum and Archives. This exclusive event will commence with a cocktail reception, followed by a gourmet dinner in the Library, curated by the Liberty Group. The evening will feature performances throughout from the Regimental Band.

Dinner Ticket—$175 Available until May 15th, 2025.
Dinner Ticket (with $100 donation to NLD80 Campaign)—$275 Includes dinner ticket and $100 donation towards the Liberation of the Netherlands pilgrimage. Donors will receive recognition in the dinner program, and a donation receipt in the amount of $100.
Gold Sponsorship—$3000 Includes a Table of 10 and a $1000 donation towards the NLD80 campaign. Donors will receive recognition in the dinner program, and a donation receipt in the amount of $1000.
Platinum Sponsorship—$5000 In addition to the above, donors will sponsor a Rifleman for the 80th anniversary trip to the Netherlands, and receive a special NLD80 coin and a donation receipt in the amount of $3000. At your request, a member of the Regiment will be seated at your table to discuss the significance of the Liberation of the Netherlands.
Diamond Sponsorship—$7500 Includes all of the above, as well as special recognition as the Diamond Sponsor and a donation receipt for $5000. Donors will also receive a full-page advertisement in the dinner program.
